Can you believe it's almost here?!! This summer went by as quickly as last school year. I hope everyone had a great summer and is feeling rested and ready for action because the first day of school is almost here.
Everyone received the agenda for this week from Mary. New employees have training at the Bethany Tuesday and/or Wednesday depending on your position. During those two days, returning teachers must be present and may work in their classrooms. There are days where the PD is for specific teachers (i.e., Friday's math PD), but all contracted employees must still be present at school on their scheduled days. Everyone MUST be present on Thursday for pictures, morning orientation, and afternoon Raptor training. All teachers must be present on Monday and Tuesday, even if those are not scheduled days, for ClearTouch training, teacher PD, and Open House. If you have questions, please come see me.
Be sure to take a walk out to Angel's Wing and see the magical transformation. It looks great and I know the students (and teachers!) will appreciate how clean everything is. Mary and I are available Monday if you want to talk about furniture in your room. Please keep in mind that you may have 27 students but we've given you 28 desks. This is because we have NO STORAGE space this year and you might get another student. You may even end up with 30 desks. Again, no storage and we need them at some point.
The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don't play together, the club won't be worth a dime.
